Ola! I’ve been a reaaaallyyy busy beef this Christmas season, which is a good thing, hooray productivity! But, it has been hindering me from blogging a lot, which is not such a good thing, hello flood of Instagram posts!
I’m going to stop myself right there. Because tonight, it’s not about el beef… it’s all about EL SUR!
WARNING: This blog post may make you hungry! I advise that you get some food and place it right beside you. In case of mouth watering emergencies. HAHA!
Super good! Super chocolatey!
What is El Sur dear El Beef? Well, it’s the newest Mercato Centrale experience in the South!
I’m sure y’all are familiar with Mercato – aka the awesome place to hangout and eat. Well now it’s in ATC too! But in a much cuter, although still very fulfilling (by that I mean tummy and taste buds kind of fulfilling), setup! 🙂
It’s open every Friday & Saturday, right beside two of my favorite places in ATC – Fully Booked and Jamba Juice! 🙂
Our guide for the yummy night was Ian. He showed us around El Sur and made sure our tummies were happy. Hehe! Thanks again matey! And of course, my date was my fitness/event buddy Erika! 🙂
One of our first stops was this steak stall. If you loveee steaks/meat, I suggest that you eat here! It was only Php 100.00-120.00 for a meal and the steak is LEGIT y’all!
I myself, am a lover of all things beefy, meaty, and steak-y? Lol! And I tell yer, this affordable steak meal did NOT disappoint! It’s the kind of steak that doesn’t leave you chewing on a piece for hours ‘cuz it’s just not prepared right…this one melts in your mouth dawg! *Insert heart eyes here*
Nice seeing you Paolo S.! 🙂
Porky thangs everywhere! Noooo! 🙁
Another favorite stall of mine during this food trip was this jam place! They sold ALL KINDS OF JAM! And when I say all kinds, I mean ALLLL KINDS!
Yup, bacon jam my friends. Bacon JAMIFIED! We also got to try out their monkey jam, white wine, beer, and red wine jams too. Too cool my friends, too cool!
Really wanted to try this! I was just too full by the time I chanced upon it!
Dessert stop time! (How are you all doing by the way? My tummy is grumbling as I type up this sentence! Haha!) We had some cookie butter and mud pie pudding from Vanilla Five for dessert!
If you’re a fan of sweets and ice cream, you should definitely try this one out! Plus, it comes in a big tub! Super sulit for Php 75.00 I believe! 🙂
Kuya knows how to pose + water break with Erika!
This place served beautiful baby back ribs and korean fried chicken (think Bonchon peg)! Gahhh! <3
And last but not the least, Erika and I tried the Macheesemo burger. At first I was all, “Nah, I’ll pass, I’m too full!”. But then Erika insisted that I try it…even just a teensy bite will do.
Before I knew it, ADIOS TEENSY BITE and HELLO Gela-who-ate-her-burger-so-fast-because-it-was-too-delicious! :)) Burger homies…TRY IT! It’s a super beefy patty stuffed with gourmet cheese!
Hallo! Here’s our OOTN! 🙂
And so that concludes this very yummy post of the adventures of El Beef in El Sur. Looking for a quick and sure deal yummy food fix? El Sur is they way I say! It’s open ’til 12 midnight or 3am (depending on the day)!
Wow did I just rhyme my way outta this post? :))
Hope to bump into you there soon! 🙂
All the best,
P.S. Ain’t it awesome that Erika and I brought matching studded bags that night? That’s her blurry bag on the left! :))
