Easy DIY Halloween Costume Ideas
What a title! But today’s blog post is exactly what the title is exactly saying (exactly!)! Allow me to sidetrack from my usual OOTDs and remind you of how much I LOVE HALLOWEEN!
Lol! WARNING! Webcam image supplements up ahead :))
Ever since I was a wee lass, we’d always go trick or treating and I’d always be decked out in my Mum’s Halloween concoctions/pre-made Halloween costume pasalubongs from the States (thank you Mummy!).
I probably stopped “halloweening” sometime during gradeschool-highschool but decided that it was time to rekindle the flame last 2010.
Of course, I was a jobless college girl back then so DIY’s were the way to go!
2010 (We actually dressed up as the whole L4D gang!)
I didn’t mind DIY-ing because it really gets your creative juices flowing!
2011
You really have to think of ways to make your costume look awesome but at the same time, stay within your budget.
2012
I’ve decided that I’d amp up my DIY costumes as the years progress (I hope you could tell!) and so it’s almost Halloween again and I DON’T KNOW WHO/WHAT TO DIY AS! RAHHHHH!
If you’re having the same dilemma as I am, I suggest going on a costume idea hunt of sorts on the www.
And now ladies (and gents!), I present to you the fruits of my hunt… my TOP 10 EASY DIY HALLOWEEN COSTUME IDEAS FOR 2013:
1. Candy Corn
2. Frida Kahlo
3. Mary Poppins
5. Charlie Brown (AHUHUHU!)
7. Sims
Michelle Phan has a great makeup tutorial for this one! 🙂
10. Miley Cyrus
I really wanted to dress up as Miley this year! But alas, I do not have short blonde hair (and I haven’t seen a Miley-ish wig around!).
GARSH! I love dressing up for Halloween! Hopefully I helped you guys out with your Halloween woes! I’m hoping I can help myself out too soon/asap! :))
Have any ideas for me?? 🙂 So far I’m leaning towards being Dorothy, Katy Perry (again-ish), or Princess Bubblegum!
All the best,
P.S. Click on the costume title to go to the original source! 🙂
