It’s A Hair Story with Glam Salon (Part One)
Ola people of the world wide wonder and beyond! I’m here today to share with everyone my hair story/hair journey. Of course these journeys would not be possible without the help of Glam Salon! (Glam Salon is the Gandalf to my Frodo, or the Qui-Gon to my Obi-Wan…WHUT HAHA!)
Let’s start with a little back story:
Ever since I had my hair colored during 2nd year college, I realized I loved getting my hair did! I loooved getting it cut or colored every now and then! I also loved the fact that whenever you’d change your hair you’d also get this whole new persona with it!
I’ve gone through so much hair changes already! I used to be a normal red head, then a “woah you’re hair is on fire” lass…at one point my hair was even a rainbow unicorn mess (I mean that in a good way)! I also had Carly Rae bangs, then no bangs, Selena short, and then V. Hudge long.
I’d always have a new hair mission, so whenever the staff at Glam Salon would see me enter their salon, the hair jig is definitely up (in other words ALAM NA)! :))
Although dyeing your hair is fun, I recommend not doing it as much as I do. Why? Well my hair is kind of not as healthy as it used to be thanks to all my hair missions in life! :))
They carry my fave vegan hair color – Manic Panic! Yay!
Unless you can afford to have hair treatments every other week or every month then no problemo! I on the other hand don’t get to do treatments as much as my hair would like me to! Just remember that your hair is your crowning glory! 😀 (Everyone: Okaaayy Mommmm!)
But then again it’s your choice…your music! :p (wehhhh) How about reading this short post on “What Everyone Should Know About Hair Dye”?
I was tempted by all the nail polish selections and so I decided to get my nails done too! I picked these pretties! So how much does a mani + pedi cost? Php 250.00 only! 😀
Reading Elle with T. Swift on the cover while I waited for my turn!
Whenever I’d come and visit Glam Salon (or go on any pamper me kind of day), I’d always make sure that I’d wear comfortable clothes for a comfortable day!
Anyways, on to the HAIR MISSIONS! Now that I’m pegging healthier hair, I stick to one hair color and don’t really have crazy hair missions unlike my former self.
The last time I had my roots done was last June and so…hello Gela’s true color! It’s about time my roots got some lovin’!
HAHA! Donya much! But yeah, I love their services forever! As I have said, I’ve been a loyal customer ever since 2nd year college (and that was 5 years ago I believe?!). They even support my “nail missions”! Just tell them what nail happening you want and they’ll make it happen! 😀
The hair color they always use on me is Alfaparf Color Evolution! Not familiar with that dye? Don’t worry! Because they also carry L’oreal, Inoa, Wella, and other hair dyes.
The price for getting your roots done is about Php 600.00 and up, depending on your hair length and how intense the root retouching is. And don’t worry! They always get the color right! 😉
TADAH! And it is done! Hair Mission #1 aka get my roots refreshed = ACCOMPLISHED! I also changed my hair part because…I don’t know. HAHA! I told you, I love change! 🙂
If you follow me on Instagram you’ve probably seen some of these photos already!
I just love freshly colored roots! 🙂
Anyways, that’s it for now! Keep on reading Elbeef for Part 2 of my hair story with Glam Salon (Hint: What time is it? Highlight time!)! 😀
All the best,
