Last December 8 I was invited to Tarte Clothing’s intimate bloggers tea party in Slice at The Fort! 🙂
Stacey Villanueva of Tarte Clothing – who by the way is very friendly and accommodating…a perfect host for a fashionable tea party! 🙂
Tarte held a tea party in honor of the Age of Opulence collection… and let me tell you that this collection is worth tea partying (or attending a glammed up party) for!
Intricate detailing, gold, peplums = Tarte’s Age of Opulence collection! It felt very modern baroque with a dash of Victorian glam (I feel like I’m inventing fashion eras here haha)! I wanted to take all the pieces home and attend parties and events just so I have an excuse to wear them all asap. :p
Here are two of my favorites from the collection:
If you’d like to see more of the collection you can check Tarte’s FB page over HERE!
Slice’s Chocolate Yema and Red Velvet cupcakes
Pinoy Henyo Teams!
Grabbed these from Paulina! Thanks for saying that I am a unicorn hehe!
This has only been my 2nd time to attend a bloggers event of sorts and I can say with confidence that these get togethers are loooadds of fun! 🙂 We ate delicious food, met new friends, Stacey told us about Tarte’s new collection, played Pinoy Henyo (and my team won WUHOO! Hashtag competitive haha!), ate more deliciousness in the form of cupcakes, and sang along to the Backstreet Boys!
I attended the tea party by the way with Erika – can you believe that this was actually the first time we hung out/second time to meet her in person? :p Felt like we’ve known each other since forever! I also met her friend *cough cough* Sean that afternoon (HAHA I’m kidding gurl).
And of course we all went home with some gv goodies from Empanada Mas, Estee Lauder, and Tarte! 🙂
My favorites from my Estee loot: Advanced Night Repair Eye Cream + Curvaceous Coral Lipstick
We were told that each gift was personalized! Meaning they were especially picked out for us (Estee even checked out our blogs to see which cosmetics would suit us!)…awww <3 I’m a sucker for well thought of gifts and things! 🙂
To sum it all up, the Tarte Tea Party was super fun! 🙂 Thanks for having us Stacey and we definitely fell in love with your latest collection! 🙂
BTW! Don’t forget to check out Tarte Clothing at The Ramp, Trinoma, for all you northern folks out there! 🙂 I would if I lived nearer…ahuhu!
If you wanna see more of what went on during this tea party, watch my VIDVENTURE #2! 🙂
Have a great Tuesday!
All the best,
